1. Cook onion and Aussie beef mince with cooking oil until well browned.
2. Season to taste and beef stock, water, and seasonings
3. Bring to a boil, adding plain flour, and simmer for 15 minutes until the meat mixture thickness. Set aside 10-15 minutes.
4. Line a pie plate with the short crust pastry.
5. Spoon in the meat mixture into the short crust pastry.
6. Top with puff pastry sheet, pressing down to seal the edges, trim, and glaze with egg.
7. Bake at 195C for 20 minutes until golden.
